Expertise of contributing units
The project includes expertises of several disciplines: plant ecology, plant genetics, soil microbiology and ecology, mathematical modelling. Participating research units of INRA, CNRS and Max Planck Institut have already developed collaborations in passed project (e.g., ACI Ecologie Quantitative; ORE PCBB).
They have international recognition of expertise in the research field of the functional role of biological diversity in grasslands ecosystems and participate, or have participated, to several national, European and international projects in this field. Note the contribution of one INRA Experiment Unit which supports multidisciplinary research programs.
